In 2024 the Lord connected me (James Eider) with a young servant of God in Masaka, Uganda. I started speaking with this young man and learning more about his heart for the lost and broken in his community. We discussed planting a church initially in 2024, we prayed and stayed in contact with this objective in mind.

In 2025 this young pastor traveled 12 hours by bus to meet me on mission in Kenya and we ministered together for several days in Kenya; he joined our team as an integral member in preaching and ministering at locations in Kenya. We continue on to Uganda and he faithfully served on the mission as we continued ministering in the Ugandan nation – the Pearl of Africa.

We agreed to found a church in partnership with Stephen Ssengoba as the Lead Pastor. As part of the founding team, along with Grace Outreach Ministries’ Board member, Tory Grayson, Grace Outreach Ministries, Inc. established Grace Worship Center in Masaka Uganda in August of 2025.

The church building was constructed from the ground-up on land that we had found and secured by lease along the highway in Masaka. At each stage of the building program we faced different challenges, but the work was completed and the church officially launched and is thriving.

With regular services every Sunday and a growing congregation! Many hearts have been touched in this community and beyond.
